"Bog Meadow" by Marina Petro

"Bog Meadow"
4"x6"
Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas.
Painted around all sides. Can be hung without a frame if desired.
Email me to inquire about purchasing this piece.

This piece was painted from a photo I snapped en route to Saratoga Springs, NY along a marsh. I live in the quiet countryside surrounding Saratoga and trek into the city most days to get my mail, run errands and other fun stuff. Saratoga, a magical little city, is famous for it's summer throughbred horse racing, healing springs, and mineral baths.

"THE HILL" by Marina Petro

"The Hill"
20x24 inches
Oil on stretched canvas
$975
Email or call me for purchasing options.

This is one of my new larger paintings. It depicts a hill I pass daily on my way home on Southard Road on the outskirts of Saratoga Springs, NY. I am hoping to photograph it with one of those beautiful dramatic November purple-gray cloudy skies but so far there haven't been any...at least when the light was right for a painting. I'd like to paint this scene in all four seasons.

"THE PATH" by Marina Petro

"The Path"
12x16 inch
Oil on stretched canvas
$275
Email me to purchase (link below)

Here is the final painting in the series of three which were painted at Saratoga National Battlefield. I especially like the way the path leads into the sky. They look wonderful together on my wall as a set, but I sure would like to see them on someone else's wall to be enjoyed.

"Saratoga Bog"

"Saratoga Bog"
Oil On Stretched Gallery Wrap Canvas
Painted on all sides.
5 x 7 inches
$100

Purchase "Saratoga Bog" here

This is the first small landscape I've ever painted. It's going to take some time getting accustomed to painting so small. This piece was painted from a photo I snapped en route to Saratoga Springs, NY. I live in the quiet countryside surrounding Saratoga and trek into the city each day to get my mail, run errands and other fun stuff. Saratoga is famous for it's summer throughbred horse racing, healing springs, and mineral baths. The baths are wonderful...tubs are so deep you can actually float! The mineral water is carbonated...it's like bathing in warm champagne.
