"Birth Of Angels" is another piece painted spontaneously/intuitively. I put the celestial bodies in on the top right after I thought I'd completed the painting...kept looking at it and felt it needed a little something else to bring it to completion.

This is a meadow I pass almost daily on my drive into the city of Saratoga Springs to pick up my mail, ship paintings out, anticipate interesting synchronistic events, run errands and generally break the pattern of being at home. It's rare that I stay home for a full day.

Another painting 'out of this world.' I particularly like the bottom third. As I was posting this piece just now, the computer screen cut off the top two thirds, just above the moon, and I thought, "What a great painting this would make."

I love the quotation below. It is from the 91st Psalm which is one of the most powerful prayers in the bible.  I find great comfort in it.....

Hope this painting lifts you 'out of this world' and into the realm of angels. I often wonder what most people see when they close their eyes and 'look' inside their own heads. Try it... When I close my eyes, I see the universe...always have....I am among the stars and heavenly bodies....really. It's probably why these celestial paintings are the most natural for me to create. What do you see? I'd be very interested in knowing.... I think I'll post this on my Facebook Page too....I'm curious...

"Moonrise" is another painting created intuitively from my imagination. There's a subtle white form between the two cliffs that looks like an angel. This was not deliberate...it just happened...

Here is another painting that flowed (almost) effortlessly from brush to canvas...intuitively and spontaneously from my ever fertile imagination....

I consider this painting in the category of 'healing art.' It lifts and calms my spirit when I view it. I've painted this theme many times...and most of them have been adopted by very happy collectors.  When I need to relax or move away from paintings that require more analytical effort such as horses or still lifes, or more structured landscapes,  I usually turn to this garden theme, or celestial paintings.

This was another challenging painting. I painted it a while ago while I was still under the guidance of my teacher. The lotus flower was painted in last, after I decided it would enhance the painting. My teacher suggested I leave the flower out....what do you think? One of my favorite parts of this painting is the light coming through the larger upturned lily pad near the center of the painting. It is hard to see the light coming through in this photo but it glows and I love it....

 This was quite a difficult painting to create but I am very pleased with the outcome. It is not a new piece. I painted it a while back. The colors I used are considered 'Healing' colors. Green is considered to be the primary color that corresponds to healing, prosperity, balance and well being. White is a color that is considered spiritual and blue is also a spiritual color and very calming. Pay attention....what do you experience when you view it...?
