SUNFLOWER PARTY was painted outdoors on a beautiful summer day at the entrance to the famous Victoria Pool at Saratoga Springs State Park in Saratoga Springs, NY. I've been painting there for the past few years and thoroughly enjoy the amazing floral displays and the creativity they inspire!

"Gifts From The Sun"   was created plein air (outdoors) on a beautiful warm summer day at the entrance to the renowned Saratoga State Park in Saratoga Springs, NY. - my current and very beautiful home town! I am so fortunate to have such wonderous places to set up my gear and paint! 

I will be leaving for a weekend plein air painting event in Ticondera, NY on Friday. I will post my new paintings next week.

"Sunflowers" is a recent experiment with alcohol ink. I am happy with the result. Painting with ink  is a totally different experience than painting with oil on canvas which make up the predominance of my artwork.
