"Flight" is number two in the new series of miniature works I've been creating. It is actually smaller than the picture above, being only 3" x 3" and the texture of the canvas doesn't appear as pronounced in the original. The colors are richer too. I really like this one a lot and can see it as a much larger painting.

Yesterday's attempt at painting was a disaster. It started out just fine and I should have left it alone but didn't. I kept working it over and nothing fell together quite right so I brought it to the kitchen sink and scrubbed as much paint as I could off. Oh, well...
