Only one in the entire universe...and it could be yours!
The decorative fabric adds so much to these fruit paintings. It helps a lot to have an interesting pattern to place the fruit on. I don't have to come up with anything original 'out of my head' ...which is fine a good part of the time... but having an external visual structure to work from lends a sense of relief at other times.
I've been down with bronchitis for about a week and a half and feeling just crummy. I'd wanted to be posting new paintings more often but just don't have the energy yet. Trying to get myself resurrected for my Open Studio this weekend. You can read about it here in my NEWSLETTER. Hope to see some of you local folks there. I am NOT holding this at my home studio this year. It is being held at my studio at 79 Beekman Street in Saratoga Springs, NY.
