Can you imagine being able to fly and soaring above the earth among the heavenly bodies? I wanted to fly so badly when I was a child. Tried it once and landed on my belly. After that I had doubts about the advice, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

These celestial paintings come straight out of my imagination and are probably the most natural way I paint. Actually, I'm never quite sure what a painting will turn out to be when I begin painting intuitively...just dipping brush in the first color that attracts me and following my instinct moment to moment. Once, I began painting a garden which turned out to be an angel.

Here is another celestial painting that was completed a while back and didn't post here. I can barely see the planet Mars because the red sphere isn't showing up in this photo too well. It is not a bright red but brighter than what is depicted here. This painting just flowed from my brush...it was a great pleasure to paint and very freeing.
