I found these root vegetables at our local Farmer's Market. I had fun shuffling them around on my counter while deciding on a composition. There are those times when I begin a painting enthused, but sometimes doubting whether I will do the subject matter justice. This was one of them.

I found these wonderful models while strolling through our local farmers market. It was fun shuffling them around my studio table deciding on a composition. This painting was easier to complete than I had anticipated. I thought the details on the trailing roots would be difficult but it wasn't.

Thought this would make a sweet contribution for Valentines Day. I spotted these little gems at our local farmers market. I am working on another Garfield painting which is taking much longer than I'd anticipated. Hopefully, it will be completed by Valentines Day. This has been a busy week and I haven't been able to paint as much as I would like to.
