This painting was originally commissioned from a collector whose mother passed on. She wanted a special painting done in honor of her beloved mother. If you look closely, you will see hints of angels in the clouds.
Shortly after I painted the original piece and shipped it off to it's new home, the Bottom Of The Hill Publishing Company contacted me requesting permission to use a section of the painting for one of their new book covers!
