Here is another beautiful creation from my imagination. I hadn't intended to paint angels...they sort of paint themselves. I'd painted the background with the thought that it would be a celestial painting but toward the end felt like it 'needed something.' 

After a brief meditation, I picked up my paintbrush, dipped it into the beautiful golden color and two more angels were born!

I thought I'd finished this painting but something about it was still nagging at me, although, I wasn't sure what to change or add. I brought it back into my studio, enhanced some of the lighter areas and added the stars and planets on the lower left and upper right. I really like it now.

Galaxy was very enjoyable and relaxing to paint. I enjoy the spontaneous application of color and blending on the canvas. Most enjoyable is the surprise when it's completed. It feels like I am creating my own universe each time I paint one. I used to paint these cosmic landscapes much larger. My entire arm would be in motion over the canvas. It's quite a different experience painting them on small canvases...only my hand is moving...

Another painting from my imagination. I was going to take photos of my new work today and post a new painting. When I turned my camera on it indicated the battery was low and that was the end of that! I began painting a new floral today and taking a short break now to keep in touch.
