These paintings really need to be seen 'in person' to be appreciated for the detail and images. It's near impossible to capture all that with a camera. "Violet Angel" is one of the first paintings from 'The Zone' that I created and it was painted on paper with tempera paint and is not for sale....at least not at this point. I might change my mind later on...
Can you imagine the surprises while painting these? Imagine trying to keep your mind clear of images/impressions and just following your hand from paint to canvas...it's like..."Wow! Where did that dragon suddenly come from? Or, when I think foliage might be developing (top of painting) and it turns out to be snakes or new species of insects! Quite an adventure...
