 I began painting this piece by laying in a base of light red and then rubbing most of it off which produced the peach color in the center. Every other color afterward blended subtly with the base color. Not much mixing was involved with this piece. I'm getting better at getting the heavenly bodies to glow.

This is yet another painting that I will consider painting on a larger canvas. Of course, it won't be exactly the same, but similar.
